House party in Milton, MA (RSVP to me for details) 7:00-9:30 PM

A dear old friend, Darlyne Johnson, is opening her house for a special Lion Songs event. Two core members of our New York band Timbila (Nora Balaban on mbira and vocals, and Rima Fand on violin and vocals) will come up for the evening. I’ll do a short presentation on the book, and we’ll play a set of music. There will be food and drink. I’d love to see as many of my Boston friends there as possible. Sure to be a sweet night.
